What is a double-sided mirror (laminated mirror)?

A double-sided mirror, also called a laminated mirror, consists of two 3 mm mirrors bonded back to back. This gives you a mirror on both sides.

When do you choose a double-sided mirror?

You choose it when you need a reflection on two sides. If you hang or glue a mirror against a wall, the second mirror side is of no use to you. For a normal wall mirror you therefore choose a single mirror, usually 6 mm. Read more about which thickness to choose for your custom mirror.

Edges

If the edges will be visible, always choose polished edges. How that works is explained under the edge finish of your custom mirror.

Not the same as a one-way mirror

A double-sided mirror is something different from a one-way mirror, which you can see through in certain lighting conditions. You cannot see through a double-sided mirror, because it is two mirrors with their backs against each other. An example of a one-way mirror is SGG Mirastar; you will find it under which mirrors are suitable as an interior mirror.
