Can I cut a mirror defogger to size?
No. The pad cannot be cut. Choose a size that matches the part of the mirror that needs to stay clear; the heating works up to about 5 to 7 cm beyond the pad.
How do I connect a mirror defogger?
To the light point behind your mirror. The defogger then switches on and off with the bathroom light switch. A dimmer does not work: the heating will not function properly on one.
Does a mirror defogger work on any mirror?
Only on a mirror without a safety film on the back. Also keep at least 8 mm of space behind the mirror and preferably use a blind mounting set, so the heat can escape.
