Mounting of a mirror wall
You can mount a mirror wall in several ways. In the case of Dansant Zwijndrecht, they made a floating front wall of wood and clamped the mirrors using a U profile. This gives you a straight back wall as a base and you can easily move or replace the mirrors later if necessary. Of course you can also use mirror profiles for this. Or mirror adhesive for permanent mounting.

Full-width mirror wall
If you mount a mirror wall on the entire width, you create the visual effect that the room appears twice as large. This wall is almost 10 meters wide and is placed in mirror profiles (top and bottom). It turned out very beautiful! Good luck with the karate-Do Almere lessons!

Mirror wall for your home gym

These materials are the same as the gym would use; 6 mm thick mirrors with a safety film on the back and mounted in a mirror profile are the best solution. The installation is quite simple and removing or moving the mirrors later is a breeze. And of course it looks very sleek and professional!

You can completely tailor a custom mirror wall to your wishes. A beautiful large mirror wall increases the effectiveness of sports and makes the room optically larger. You can make the wall as large and high as you want by placing various mirrors next to each other. In addition, the perfect mirror wall is a kind of business card for your company. To prevent a distorting mirror effect (mirror distortion), we have chosen not to offer 4 mm thick mirrors in this configurator. You can find the 4 mm thick mirrors under the "mirrors" range.
We have made a special configurator for mirror walls. We have made a pre-selection of different types of glass and mounting materials that are suitable for this. As an online glass trade, we do have the option to deliver the mirrors, but unfortunately not to install them. You will have to organize that yourself.
Dimensions of the mirror wall
You can make the mirror wall as wide and high as you want. Keep in mind that mirror glass is quite heavy and the larger the mirror, the heavier it is. The size and weight can hinder you when moving and/or mounting the mirrors. We can supply mirrors up to 4500 mm wide in 1 piece, but if it is 2000 mm high it weighs 135 kg. You will therefore have to move this with at least 5 people with professional glass vacuum cleaners. Assembly will also be a challenge.
Mirrors are usually ordered between 1000 and 2000 mm in width and between 2000 and 2200 mm in height. Higher is of course possible, but you have to ask yourself what the function is to go even higher with the mirror. This could be useful for trampoline jumping or climbing exercises, but this will not offer much added value for group lessons with floor exercises.
Safety and mirrors during sports
When exercising you are in motion and there is a good chance that someone could fall against the mirror. If the mirror breaks, you naturally want to prevent large pieces of sharp glass from falling down on the person in question. You can increase security in two ways. In principle, we always recommend choosing a 6 mm mirror with safety film on the back. The foil prevents dangerous pieces of glass from falling down in the event of breakage because the mirror glass remains attached to the foil.
If you do not opt for this safe solution due to budget, there is an alternative. You could also choose to glue 6 mm or 8 mm thick mirrors against a flat wall. The more glue that is used, the smaller the chance that large pieces of mirror glass will fall down. However, you can't avoid the smaller pieces with this.
Prevention is better than cure. Try to do as many activities as possible at a safe distance from the mirrors. It goes without saying that we cannot take any responsibility for the choice made and/or in the unlikely event that personal injury should occur.
How can I buy a gym mirror wall?

The configurator is smartly designed and will help you make the right choice; combinations that cannot be made are automatically blocked, so you cannot make any mistakes. After we have received the order for the mirror wall, we check it even more whether the chosen combination is logical. This way you will never be faced with surprises later on. The production time depends on the chosen mirror type and edge processing. But in most cases we can deliver within 5 - 12 working days.
We will keep you well informed during the production of your order; you will receive an email when the order has gone into production, on which day the delivery will take place and the afternoon before the delivery you will receive an SMS on your mobile number with a time indication of the delivery.
