Why do I need to be at home when my glass is delivered?
Because glass is heavy and fragile, the driver needs to get as close to the delivery address as possible. It is comparable to the delivery of a washing machine or sofa: the driver comes especially for you and must be able to count on the delivery going right in one go. If a delivery fails, it moves on by a week because of the fixed route schedules.
