What do you use a matte mirror for?
You use a matte mirror as a decorative finish in an interior, not to look at yourself. It gives no reflection, but a matte look that resembles aluminium.
Applications
- Wall finish. For a wall with the look of matte metal, without a reflection.
- Kitchen splashback. In a spot without a heat source. If there is a gas hob, or a hot pan could touch the splashback, we advise tempered glass; a mirror cannot be tempered. For a kitchen splashback we always advise a thickness of at least 6 mm.
Matte mirrors are available in the standard colour, and also in bronze and grey. The coloured versions give a tinted matte look.
