How do I mount a mirror wall?
The best way to mount a mirror wall is with mirror glue or with mirror profiles. For large mirrors, these are the two methods that work. Glue is the easiest, profiles are the better choice in the long run.
Gluing a mirror wall
With mirror glue you fix the mirrors directly to the wall. You only notice the downside later: if you want to remove or move the mirrors, you have to break them off the wall. You can then no longer use them and the wall gets damaged.
You can also glue the mirrors onto a wooden board that is slightly larger than the mirror at the top and bottom. You screw that strip to the wall and finish it with a skirting strip. This gives you a neat mirror wall that you can move later on.
Mirror wall with mirror profiles
With mirror profiles you can easily replace the mirrors later or take them with you when you move. You mount the profiles at the top and bottom of the wall and place the mirrors between them. This way you put several mirrors side by side and create a large mirror wall, for example for a gym or home gym.
Profiles cost more than glue, but the mirrors keep their value and function: you can reuse them later. That is better for your wallet and for the environment.
