Laminated 55.2 sound-insulating glass consists of two clear glass plates, each 5 mm thick, with 1 clear sound-insulating PVB film of 0.76 mm thick in between. The sound-proof foil blocks more noise than a normal laminated 55.2 pane, making this glass better suited to situations where you try to dampen the sound.
You can use this laminated glass for interior applications where soundproofing is desirable. Think of a dividing wall of, for example, an office space or a dividing wall in the house between living space and study space.

Points of attention for laminated 55.2 soundproof glass:
WATCH OUT!! Normal glass has been used in this type of glass. As a result, there will be a slight greenish discoloration which may slightly deviate from the reality of the image on the website
You are responsible at all times for applying the safety standards and requirements applicable in your country! In the Netherlands, this includes NEN-3569:2011 (“Vlakglas voor gebouwen – Risicobeperking van lichamelijk letsel door brekend en vallend glas – Eisen” voor Nederland).
For the production of custom glass, tolerances have been determined within the glass industry in terms of dimensions, quality and finish. These are industry-wide and are used by all glass companies. Please note that it is possible that glass may have a small size deviation (approx. 1 - 2 mm), and certain miniscule damages cannot always be claimed
Think carefully about the right glass size. Size changes are no longer possible once your order has gone into production
Within the glass industry it is customary to calculate a minimum area per piece. This is necessary because the handling of an order is always necessary and this prevents a glass plate from costing € 1.50, for example, while the actual production costs are much higher. The minimum area to be calculated differs per product and is stated under the tab "More information" on the product page
