Laminated satin glass is a variant of satin glass in which 2 glass plates are connected to each other by a PVB foil. Usually this is a transparent foil because the satin finish already removes the transparency and therefore it adds little to use a white foil in between.
With laminated satin glass it is standard that 1 of the panes consists of satin glass, the other pane is normal clear glass. As a result, 1 of the sides is finished matt / satin, the other side is normal reflective glass (not matte).
Laminated satin glass can be used in places where privacy is desired and where safety plays a role. Think of the falling glass due to glass breakage and places where fall-through safety plays a role.
