Features hinge profile for glass shower door, matt black:

  • Hinge profile for mounting a glass shower door to the wall, mounting at 90 degrees
  • Double acting; Rotating 90 degrees in and 90 degrees out (total 180 degrees)
  • The profile has a lift function: when the door is opened, the door will be lifted slightly
  • With adjustable zero position
  • The wall plate is 30 mm wide, the hinge piece is 60 mm wide in total
  • Glass deduction in width (on the hinge side) is 53 mm, on the passage side 4 mm (when mounted without sealing profile)
  • Length of the profile is 2035 mm high and can be shortened. The maximum glass plate that fits here is 2000 mm high. you keep the glass height 35 mm smaller than the height of the profile you want to mount
  • Matt black finish
  • Only suitable for glass thickness: 6 mm, up to a maximum width of 800 mm
  • Maximum door size 6 glass thickness: 800 x 2000 mm
  • No recesses are required in the glass for mounting the glass to the profile. You mount the glass plate in the hinge profile with silicone sealant. Then let it harden for at least 24 hours before mounting the door to the wall profile
  • Comes with a sealing rubber on the bottom. This needs 15 mm of space at the bottom. This is already provided for and you do not have to calculate a glass deduction for this
  • If you want a seal on the side you will have to order this separately. For this you still have to take an extra glass deduction to arrive at the correct glass width

Hinge profile for glass shower door, matt black comes with:

  • One wall profile
  • One glass profile
  • Sealing profile underneath the door

Points of attention:

  • This only includes the hinged profile with a seal at the bottom. You will have to order the glass, door knob/handle and/or seal on the walk-through side separately
  • Make sure you use the correct glass deduction when ordering the glass door. For example, if you install a sealing profile, you need a different glass deduction than if you are going to install a door without a seal. Please ask us for advice if you don't know what to do
  • Allow the sealant to harden thoroughly before mounting the door to the wall profile. If you do not give this enough time, the glass plate can sink out of the profile
  • Work with precision, take your time, use the right tools and ask someone to help you when you need to move and mount the glass door
  • Preferably use a long water level or a laser water level to properly position the glass panel
  • Make sure the floor and wall are level. If these are not level, this can result in a crooked gap between the glass and the wall/floor. You than may have to order the glass in a different shape to fit correctly
  • NEVER let the glass rest on the floor, always place something in between such as a wooden slat, blanket, rug, etc. If glass is placed on a hard surface, the risk of damage is very high. This also applies to contact with the wall and other hard surfaces. Protect the glass at all times, it is and remains a vulnerable product
  • ALWAYS use the correct Personal Protection Equipment when you move and/or install the glass
