Single pane glass
Single glass is a collective name for glass that consists of one solid glass plate. Single glass is often used for interior applications and as part of insulating glass. In the past, only glass was used as glazing, but nowadays only insulating glass is used in the exterior walls.
Single glass is available in many different types. Basically we talk about "float glass" (raw glass that comes from the glass oven). This single glass is then tailor-made for use by the glass processing companies. Or this float glass is further treated / processed to, for example, make laminated glass, mirror glass, tempered glass, lacquered glass or other types of single glass.
