When to choose the Semco Klima 700

Choose the Klima 700 when daylight comes first and you still want to temper the sharpest solar heat. Of the four types this coating lets in the most light (LTA 68%) and works a little more gently against the heat (ZTA 35%). Vision is almost colour-neutral with a light green tint, ideal for rooms where you want to keep as much light as possible, for example on the north, east or west or a lightly shaded south. If you need more solar control, the Klima 600, 500 and 400 offer step by step more.

Unlaminated, laminated or double laminated

The coating sets the solar control, and you choose the build yourself. This category is the widest: alongside versions with an unlaminated inner pane and with a laminated inner pane, there are also compositions with a laminated outer pane, for extra safety or sound insulation on both sides. An unlaminated pane is lighter and suitable where no safety requirements apply. A laminated pane, such as 33.1, 44.2 or 55.2, meets NEN 3569, dampens sound and stays whole on breakage. Insulation, cavity and finish

Every option has an argon-filled cavity, and you choose its width yourself. That width sets both the insulation value and the room you need in the frame; with a cavity of 15 or 16 mm the Ug-value comes to 1.0 W/m²K. So you insulate well and keep the solar heat out at the same time, because the solar control coating also has the properties of a low-e (HR++) coating. Cavity widths from 6 to 16 mm are standard; 18 and 20 mm are available at a surcharge. You choose the type and colour of the spacer alongside in the configurator.
