Semco Klima 400

Solar control glazing ZHR++ Semco Klima 400

The Semco Klima 400 is the strongest solar control coating in the range. The coating on the outer pane lets through just 21% of the solar heat (ZTA) and 40% of the daylight (LTA), so it stays noticeably cooler behind this glass on the warmest days. The glass is slightly reflective with a blue-purple tint that looks the same from every angle. Within this category you choose the composition yourself: from an unlaminated inner pane to a laminated, safe version, in the glass thickness and cavity that suit your frame. Below you will find every option, each configured to size.

When to choose the Semco Klima 400

Choose the Klima 400 when solar control comes first. Of the four Semco Klima types this coating keeps out the most heat, which shows in the low ZTA of 21%. In return, a little less daylight comes in and the blue-purple tint is the most visible of the range. This coating is at its best on the south and south-west, in conservatories and facades with a lot of glass where the sun can really heat things up. If you want to keep more daylight, the Klima 500 and 600 are a logical next step.
