Tempered installation glass satin 6 mm is tempered satin finished glass with a maximum of 5 recesses/holes for, for example, hinges, clamps and/or door handles/knobs. The edges of the installation glass are also standard polished. The stated m² is an all-in price. This allows you to easily calculate the price of the glass, without additional costs.
Tempered installation glass satin of 6 mm thickness is not often used because it is too thin and swabby to make a solid construction. However, sometimes you cannot avoid choosing 6 mm. But if you have the chance to choose 8 or 10 mm then we advise you to choose that. That is a more sensible choice.
Main features of tempered installation glass satin 6 mm:

Points of attention for 6 mm tempered installation glass satin:
WATCH OUT!! Normal glass has been used in this type of glass. As a result, there will be a slight greenish discoloration which may slightly deviate from the reality of the image on the website
Once the glass has been tempered in the oven you can not adjust it. The glass plate will break with every attempt you try to change it. It is therefore very important that you order the correct glass size and with all needed additions in it (such as drill holes). You can no longer add this once the glass has tempered
When the satin side of the glass gets wet, the glass will become temporarily transparent. Once the water has dried again, it will regain its original matt appearance. This is not a fault of the glass, but this is part of this product. You can't help it. If you have a situation with a wet and dry side, preferably place the matted side on the dry side
You are responsible at all times for applying the safety standards and requirements applicable in your country! In the Netherlands, this includes NEN-3569:2011 (“Vlakglas voor gebouwen – Risicobeperking van lichamelijk letsel door brekend en vallend glas – Eisen” voor Nederland).
For the production of custom glass, tolerances have been determined within the glass industry in terms of dimensions, quality and finish. These are industry-wide and are used by all glass companies. Please note that it is possible that glass may have a small size deviation (approx. 1 - 2 mm), and certain miniscule damages cannot always be claimed
Think carefully about the right glass size. Size changes are no longer possible once your order has gone into production
Within the glass industry it is customary to calculate a minimum area per piece. This is necessary because the handling of an order is always necessary and this prevents a glass plate from costing € 1.50, for example, while the actual production costs are much higher. The minimum area to be calculated differs per product and is stated under the tab "More information" on the product page
