AGC Raywall 90T 8 mm tempered installation glass is a type of patterned glass that is characterized by a pattern of many fine dots that have been rolled into the glass in an involuntary pattern. Because of this fine pattern, light does come through the clear glass, but you do not see details and only contours.

This type of glass has been around since 2003 and resembles Canalé glass. The advantage of Raywall is that it can be hardened. This is in contrast to Canalé glass, which cannot be hardened.

This type of glass is hardened so that it falls under safety glass and you can use it in 8 mm thickness for partition walls, shower walls, shower doors, interior doors or as glass in interior doors.

Features AGC Raywall 90T 8 mm tempered installation glass:

  • Clear patterned tempered glass (transparant but you only see contours, no clear picture)
  • Including a maximum of 5 recesses for hinges/clamps/door handle/doorknob, including all-round poly-ground edge finish (the m² price mentioned is an all-in price, including these recesses and polished edge finish)
  • Pre-fab glass product for use as eg. (shower) door, (shower) wall and more tempered glass applications where recesses in the glass are necessary
  • Standard edge finishing: polished edges
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Combine with various door fittings such as shower door hinges, clamps, knobs, handles, etc.
  • This glass weighs 20 kg per m²
  • The mentioned price is a m² price
  • Can be custom-made in the glass configurator
  • Maximum size is 1840mm wide, 3340 mm high, with a VERTICAL pattern (like the product image)
  • This comes standard with a hardening stamp in the corner of the glass. Please state clearly when ordering if you do not want this hardening stamp on it

Points of attention AGC Raywall 90T 8 mm tempered installation glass:

  • The pattern of this glass is vertical. Please take this into account when you place the order; state the width and height in the right place of the model
  • One side of the glass is quite flat, the side in which the pattern is rolled is a bit puckered. If hinge recesses are required, determine well on which side of the glass you want the flat surface side
  • Once the glass has been tempered in the oven you can not adjust it. The glass plate will break with every attempt you try to change it. It is therefore very important that you order the correct glass size and with all needed additions in it (such as drill holes). You can no longer add this once the glass has tempered
  • You are responsible at all times for applying the safety standards and requirements applicable in your country! In the Netherlands, this includes NEN-3569:2011 (“Vlakglas voor gebouwen – Risicobeperking van lichamelijk letsel door brekend en vallend glas – Eisen” voor Nederland)
  • For the production of custom glass, tolerances have been determined within the glass industry in terms of dimensions, quality and finish. These are industry-wide and are used by all glass companies. Please note that it is possible that glass may have a small size deviation (approx. 1 - 2 mm), and certain miniscule damages cannot always be claimed
  • Think carefully about the right glass size. Size changes are no longer possible once your order has gone into production
  • Within the glass industry it is customary to calculate a minimum area per piece. This is necessary because the handling of an order is always necessary and this prevents a glass plate from costing € 1.50, for example, while the actual production costs are much higher. The minimum area to be calculated differs per product and is stated under the tab "More information" on the product page
