AGC Dark Grey glass 6 mm is a 6 mm thick glass plate with a dark grey tint. This dark grey color is darker than the normal 'grey tinted glass 6 mm'. Dark grey tinted glass is used when you want less transparency. Glass can have a major influence on the appearance and atmosphere of, for example, a living room or office. If you think clear glass is too light, dark grey tinted glass is a good option. The dark grey pigment in the glass ensures that the transparency is darker and therefore more limited to see through..
This glass is transparent and colored through and through, we call it "mass-colored glass". The substances that cause the dark grey color were added to the liquid glass during the production process of the glass. As a result, the dark grey color is embedded in the glass and it is colorfast. The rule applies to this type of glass: "the thicker the glass, the more color intensity". In other words, an AGC Dark Grey glass of 10 mm thickness is darker in color than an AGC Dark Grey glass plate of 6 mm thickness. Our glass configurator helps you put together your custom dark grey colored glass. You can choose from different models, edge finishes and rounded corners.
The edges of 6 mm glass can be polished and you can have a bevelled edge of up to 30 mm wide.

Points of attention for 6 mm AGC Dark Grey tinted glass
- For the production of custom glass, tolerances have been determined within the glass industry in terms of dimensions, quality and finish. These are industry-wide and are used by all glass companies. Please note that it is possible that glass may have a small size deviation (approx. 1 - 2 mm), and certain miniscule damages cannot always be claimed
- Think carefully about the right glass size. Size changes are no longer possible once your order has gone into production
- Within the glass industry it is customary to calculate a minimum area per piece. This is necessary because the handling of an order is always necessary and this prevents a glass plate from costing € 1.50, for example, while the actual production costs are much higher. The minimum area to be calculated differs per product and is stated under the tab "More information" on the product page
