You can also order wire glass from us. Wire glass is available in a limited number of variants. Originally, this glass has limited fire / smoke protection properties. In the event of fire, the glass bursts due to the heat, but the steel wires ensure that the glass stays together. This prevents a large part of the smoke.

It is often thought that this is very strong glass, but that is not the case. The wire in the glass causes an interruption of the glass thickness and is therefore less strong. And if a hole is created, the steel wire breaks through and provides sharp points in the opening of the glass. Our glass configurator helps you to put together your customized wire glass. You can choose from different models and rounded corners. Grinding of this glass is unfortunately not possible because the steel wires damage the grinding wheels.
